Moonlight Dwelling

"Do you want to clean up first?"

Bonnie went into the bathroom to clean off the blood. Elena was relieved that Jer and Jenna weren't home. She wanted to tell Bonnie alone. She deserved to know what was going on. She was so grateful that Stefan saved her. Elena didn't know how she'd be able to deal with another death of someone she cared about.

"Okay tell me Elena."

They sat on the bed and Elena started talking. It was a relief in a way to tell someone else which she had wanted to do but she didn't want it to be like this.

"Stefan and Damon are vampires."

Bonnie reached up to her neck where she had washed away the blood. There wasn't a mark when she looked in the mirror but she could remember Damon's teeth sinking into her skin. It was so strange but at this point she would  believe anything after all she had just been possessed by her ancestor Emily.

"Do you remember anything that happened?"

"Yeah I was there but not there at the same time. I wasn't in control. She did a spell to destroy the necklace."

"That's right. She had made a deal with Damon back in 1864 to save Katherine."

Bonnie just listened to Elena while she explained how Katherine turned the brothers into vampires, She knew that she nearly died so she was grateful to Stefan for saving her.

"So Damon really is Danger Guy."

"Danger Guy?"

"I was talking to Caroline about him and called him Older Danger Guy."

"Yeah you're right about that. But Stefan isn't that way at all."

Bonnie could tell that Elena was upset about something.

"What is it?"

"He doesn't want to be with me. I love him but he's pushing me away to protect me."

Bonnie hugged Elena thinking that maybe Stefan was doing the right thing after all how could a human and a vampire make a relationship work.
